Q. What is Mesotherapy?
Originating in France, mesotherapy is a series of tiny injections delivered by a very fine needle to penetrate the skin. The injection consists of a cocktail of nutrients including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, hyaluronic acids, plant extracts, enzymes and antioxidants. It works by increasing your skin's metabolism and stimulating the collagen, elastin and cell turnover.
Q. What can it help with?
Mesotherapy can help treat a variety of skin conditions such as acne, pigmentation, dehydrated/dull skin, and fine lines, minor scarring. Many of our patients also report tightening, firming and brightening of the skin.
Q. Does it hurt?
We use an extremely fine needle which minimises pain, alongside our experienced clinicians trained to deliver pain free injections. The majority of our patients find this treatment very tolerable. We can also give the option to apply a numbing cream but this is not normally needed.
Q. How long does it take?
The treatment takes around 30 minutes. It's recommended to have a course of around 4-6 sessions. However, it is also popular to use as a one-off before a special occasion, known to some as the Red Carpet Treatment.
Q. When will I see the results?
The treatment is results-driven. Improvements to the skin can be seen straight after treatment.
