One of the most popular treatments we carry out in clinic!
A thread lift (also called a PDO thread lift) is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that lifts and tightens sagging skin using dissolvable medical-grade threads placed under the skin.
It’s often described as a “non-surgical facelift.”
- Thin, dissolvable threads (usually made of PDO – polydioxanone) are inserted under the skin using a needle or cannula.
- The threads are gently pulled to lift sagging skin. A particular good treatment for the lower face area.
- Over time, the threads dissolve, but they stimulate collagen production, which helps improve skin firmness and texture.
